Colorado Medicaid eConsult is Now Live as of 2/1/24!
Funded by the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF), the Colorado Medicaid eConsult Program aims to ease challenges faced from lack of access to specialty care across the state. Colorado Medicaid eConsults are free to Providers, offering high demand specialties, addressing workforce shortages and geographic barriers, and improving access to essential healthcare services for all Coloradans.

We, Safety Net Connect (SNC), a leading provider of advanced virtual care solutions, is HCPF’s vendor/partner to create and implement the State’s Medicaid eConsult platform. We have launched the Colorado Medicaid eConsult Program Informational Site as a resource to provide up-to-date information about the program, available Specialties, and how to enroll. We will be continually updating and adding content to the site. Come check it out!
eConsult Provider Spotlight
We congratulate Christie Foster, PA-C from RAE 7’s Iron Horse Pediatrics for submitting the very first eConsult in the State into the Colorado Medicaid eConsult Platform! Christie Foster, PA-C shared:

They would have had to travel miles and miles, taking time off work for an extra appointment. Instead, they now have a local follow-up primary care visit where they are used to being seen.”
